...Giannis Antetokounmpo left the Wednesday night matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Detroit Pistons with an apparent lower-body injury.
As the Pistons and the Bucks were in the first quarter, Antetokounmpo went down with a non-contact injury away from the play. He went to the locker room shortly after the setback took place.
When Giannis left the game, he appeared in just three minutes. He had two points (from the charity stripe), one rebound, and one assist, which came on the defensive end. The Bucks were losing control of the game early.
He won’t return to the game. According to reports, Giannis Antetokounmpo is dealing with a calf strain.

Giannis Has All Eyes on Him
Hours before the Pistons and the Bucks tipped off, Giannis made headlines as his future in Milwaukee once again comes into question.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Antetokounmpo will meet with his agent to discuss his future. The timing of the report doesn’t come as a shock, considering the Bucks have been struggling lately, especially when Antetokounmpo is out of the lineup.
A recent setback forced a four-game absence for Giannis. During that stretch, which included games against the Sixers, Pistons, Trail Blazers, and the Heat, the Bucks lost every matchup. When Antetokounmpo returned to the court for the next three games, the Bucks went 1-2, with losses against the Knicks and the Wizards. Their only win was against the struggling Brooklyn Nets.
...Before Wednesday’s game, Bucks head coach Doc Rivers addressed the reports, downplaying Antetokounmpo’s interest in getting traded.
“There’s been no conversation,” Rivers told reporters. “Giannis has never asked to be traded. Ever. I can’t make that more clear.”
While the trade rumors will remain loud, Giannis’ recent setback will now generate plenty of attention as well.
