It appears Michigan State football has its starting quarterback for next season.

Michigan State quarterback Alessio Milivojevic posted a simple message on his Instagram: "Run it back". The message was accompanied by a number of photos from this season, suggesting Milivojevic will return for another season with the Spartans.

Milivojevic took over as the Spartans' starting quarterback for the final four games of the season, bringing a spark to the Michigan State offense. He finished this season throwing for 1,267 yards, 10 touchdowns to three interceptions. He finished the season with his best game of the year, throwing for just under 300 yards and four touchdowns to lead Michigan State to a win over Maryland.

You can see Milivojevic's post on Instagram below:

At this time, it's uncertain if fellow starting quarterback Aidan Chiles will return next season or enter the transfer portal and look for a new home. So, with that being said, it's not a lock that Milivojevic will be the Spartans starting quarterback next season, but he'll certain be one of -- if not the -- front runner for the spot.

This is huge news for the Spartans and new head coach Pat Fitzgerald. Milivojevic will still have three years of eligibility, and very well could be the next great Michigan State quarterback when its all said and done. That's the hope at least.
