We have some early controversy in the first half of the Week 14 game between the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementOn Dallas' second offensive series in the first quarter, Dak Prescott and Co. were backed up against their own goal line.
On third down, the Lions brought the blitz and managed to take Prescott down for what looked like a safety.
However, the office in New York thought differently and overturned the initial ruling on the field.
Why Lions' sack wasn't ruled a safety
Officials claimed that the ball was not behind the goal line when Prescott was sacked, even though video appeared to show otherwise.
Yeah, we just don't see how that was overturned.
Even if you want to say it's close, to overturn that call it had to be clear and obvious and that video certainly didn't qualify as such.
