Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid spoke with reporters on Tuesday during his press conference, sharing an essential update on the injury status of starting running back Isiah Pacheco ahead of Thursday's Week 13 game against the Dallas Cowboys.

"We'll see how he (Isiah Pacheco) does today," Reid said, "but we'll get him in there. He'll play. How much, I can't tell you that right now. See how it goes."

Pacheco has been out of action over the last three games after injuring his knee in the Chiefs' Week 8 victory over the Washington Commanders. Kareem Hunt has carried the team's running game in his absence with a 100-yard game recorded last week.

Starting right guard Trey Smith missed practice with the ankle injury he suffered during last Sunday's victory over the Indianapolis Colts. The Chiefs were also without tight end Noah Gray in practice and are likely to miss the game against Dallas after entering concussion protocol on Sunday.

The addition of Pacheco should help balance the carries in the backfield and not overwork the veteran Hunt, who had a season-high 30 carries last week.
