The Denver Broncos head into another crucial week of football with a Sunday Night Football showdown with the Washington Commanders on deck in Week 13. Quarterback Bo Nix leads the Broncos at 9-2 into the U.S. capital to face a potentially Jayden Daniels-less team that has struggled after a magical 2024.
Nix has been the source of fascination around Denver, where he is booed one minute, and praised the next. After perhaps his best performance against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11, Nix's teammates are tired of hearing the constant criticism of Nix. Tight end Adam Trautman's comments after the Broncos' win over the Chiefs caught the attention of NFL analyst Mike Florio, who discussed the polarizing play of Nix.

Florio went on to say NIx hasn't exactly played at the level of a Hall of Famer. "The reality is, Bo Nix isn't John Elway," Florio said, before citing Nix's statistics, which place him near the middle to bottom of the NFL.
Florio and co-host Chris Simms believe the Broncos are rallying behind Nix at the behest of head coach Sean Payton. "It feels like (Denver) wanted to come up with a way to organically get the locker room behind Bo Nix," said Florio. "The team is 9-2. That's all that matters."
