Vanderbilt football is ranked No. 14 in the College Football Playoff rankings, the same as its ranking last week.
The Commodores (9-2, 5-2 SEC) defeated Kentucky, 45-17, as Diego Pavia set a school record for single-game passing yards. Vanderbilt is still behind a quintet of other SEC teams in Texas A&M, Georgia, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Alabama as it heads to Knoxville to face Tennessee (8-3, 4-3) at Neyland Stadium on Nov. 29 (2:30 p.m. CT, ESPN).

Playoff berths go to the five highest-ranked conference champions along with seven at-large bids. Vanderbilt cannot make the SEC Championship Game, so it will need to qualify via the at-large route.
