The Buffalo Bills' need for a true No. 1 weapon for Josh Allen has been a hotly discussed topic over the past 24 months.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementGranted, Buffalo went deep into the playoffs without one last year, and are back in the divisional round this season, but still, there is a desire to give Allen a top weapon.
With Keon Coleman struggling to be "the" guy Buffalo drafted him to be, it has been a struggle for the second-year weapon.
And Bleacher Report's Alex Ballentine has offered an interesting trade that sends Keon and a fifth-round pick to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for Brandon Aiyuk.
"Both Aiyuk and Coleman could use a change of scenery," Ballentine wrote. "The Bills could use a high caliber receiver at a discounted price while the Niners need cheaper help in light of Brock Purdy's new contract extension.

Should Bills end Coleman experiment?
I'm not one for franchises to give up on young players, especially ones on a rookie contract.
But Coleman is approaching a fork in the road moment this offseason.
Entering Year 3 with a lot to prove (providing he doesn't light up the playoffs), I expect the Bills to give Keon the full offseason to show his worth.
Maybe even a few games in 2026 before the trade deadline.

But who would want to trade draft capital for a receiver who has not yet proven anything in the league?
Maybe the 49ers, simply because they want to move on from Aiyuk.
