Atlanta Falcons kicker Zane Gonzalez has won the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week award for his performance in the team's 24-10 win over the New Orleans Saints. Gonzalez made all three of his field goal attempts in Week 13, including two 50-yard conversions from 56 and 54 yards.
Since signing with the Falcons in Week 11, Gonzalez has been a perfect 6-for-6 on field goals and converted all six of his extra-point attempts.

The Falcons need Gonzalez to continue making big kicks as they are likely to be without No. 1 wide receiver Drake London for the second game in a row this weekend.
The Falcons are currently 4-7, and while a trip to the postseason is unlikely, it's not completely off the table if the team wins out. Sunday's road matchup against the New York Jets kicks off at 1 p.m. ET. The Jets are just 2-9, but should not be overlooked considering the circumstances.
