The Blues agreed a fee with Palmerias worth an initial £29m in the summer of 2024, and the 18-year-old finally joined after the Club World Cup.

It’s also believed Chelsea chose to sign Estevao over Endrick, who ended up going to Real Madrid where things haven’t worked out for him so far.

Chelsea are also hopeful Cole Palmer will be fit to feature after suffering a fractured toe in an accident at home, with the England international not featuring since September.
Palmer returned to training on Monday, but missed the game against Barcelona, but Chelsea are hopeful he’ll be fit for Sunday, with the prospect of him and Estevao sharing the pitch a mouth watering one.
