Predicting The Michigan State Vs. Maryland Score

Happy Friday TOC. I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving. But now we need to turn our attention back to MSU football one last time this season. It’s all on the line tomorrow. Can MSU get that elusive Big Ten win and catch Maryland in the standings? Or will the Terrapins keep the Spartans at the bottom of the conference? It should be a highly dramatic game to watch.

Michigan State Vs. Maryland

Mike: I think MSU has been close two of the last three weeks and finds a way to get one to end the season.  17-16 MSU.  Then we all wait until Sunday for some sort of Smith announcement.

Steve: Maryland 24 MSU 14

Lucas: Spartans 21 Terps 10. MSU closes out the season on a high note and is in control for most of this one. Once again, some questionable coaching decisions make this game closer than it should be, but I just don’t see Maryland having the firepower to fight back in what is all but a meaningless game. If the State defense comes out playing with as much energy as they did against Iowa, for the first time in several weeks I can justify predicting a win.

O: Of course I want MSU to win this game and will be cheering for them. But, as Lucas eluded to, I believe Coach Smith will make some of his usual blunders and it will cost us one last time… on his way out the door hopefully. I think we are going to see two teams who are just ready to be done with their season. Both teams record a safety in this one. Maryland wins 12-9.
