The Minnesota Vikings' season is in a free fall as they are on a three-game losing streak and have lost five of their last six. The team itself has been underperforming, especially the defense, but the quarterback position has been the ultimate reason for chaos.
Ironically, the Vikings' Week 13 opponent is enjoying some of the better quarterback play of the season courtesy of Sam Darnold. The Vikings' 2024 starter found his way out west on a big contract this offseason, and on Sunday, he gets a chance to show them what they are missing up close.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementIt isn't just the play of Sam Darnold that is going to be a problem for the Vikings; their defense, as well, is hitting another gear in recent weeks. Head coach Mike MacDonald came over from Baltimore last year, and in his second season as head coach, he has transformed the team into his image, and they are playing at a top-tier level. All of this is going to cause problems for the Vikings in Week 13 and make for a tough matchup.
We will let the numbers show you just how tough a matchup they are facing in our Week 13 preview.
