Chelsea vs. Arsenal match details
Arsenal can wrap up a perfect week when they travel to Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementMikel Arteta's side followed up their emphatic 4-1 win over Tottenham in the north London derby with a statement 3-1 victory against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
That result left the Gunners as the only team to have won all five of their league phase matches in Europe's top competition this season, while they also headed into this weekend with a six-point lead at the top of England's top flight.
Chelsea were their nearest challengers, having won five of their past six Premier League games.
Enzo Maresca's men also enjoyed a banner night in the Champions League when they swept past Barcelona 3-0 in midweek.

Leandro Trossard hobbled off during the first half against Bayern Munich and the knock to the Belgium winger's calf will be assessed.
Noni Madueke, recently back from his own lay-off, replaced Trossard and scored the crucial second goal. The England international could be rewarded with a start against his former club.
Riccardo Calafiori provided a superb assist for Madueke and might dislodge Myles Lewis-Skelly at left-back, with Piero Hincapie returning

Long-term absentee Gabriel Jesus featured in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Arsenal's training ground this week, alongside Ethan Nwaneri.

Arsenal injury list
Below is the latest injury picture for Arsenal, and estimated return dates for those who are sidelined.
Gabriel
Injury: Thigh
Expected return date: Late December
A mainstay of Arsenal's imperious defence, Gabriel limped off early in the second half of Brazil's 2-0 friendly triumph against Senegal. Arteta did not give an exact prognosis for his expected return but stated "weeks", as opposed to months.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisement“I think he’s evolving really, really well. We have to wait for the scan a little bit longer to be more precise in terms of the timings," Arteta said when giving an update on Gabriel at his pre-Chelsea press conference on November 28.
“I’m quite confident, especially the way Gabi takes every injury and the way he’s going to push everybody, that it’s not going to be that long.”
Victor Gyokeres
Injury: Muscular
Expected return date: November 30
Gyokeres put in arguably his most impressive performance since joining from Sporting CP during Arsenal's weekend win over Burnley, but this was curtailed at halftime.
Arteta said the player had suffered "a little niggle", although he missed international duty with Sweden and his next target is the Premier League game against Chelsea.

Injury: Knee
Expected return date: November 30
Havertz had a minor operation after damaging his knee in the opening win over Manchester United. Arteta is eager not to rush him back as the manager wants to keep the player fully fit for as long as possible. After the November international break is the target, although his return could come in early December, depending on when he gets clearance from the medical staff.
Gabriel Jesus
Injury: Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) (left knee)
Expected return date: December 2025
Jesus has not played since suffering a serious knee injury in January 2025. Ahead of the Chelsea match, he played in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Arsenal's training ground, a significant step in his recovery.
