The beginning of the early signing period for college football is a few days away, and Arizona expects to sign more than 20 players on Wednesday. That list includes one that officially came on board over the weekend.
Kevin Moorer, an edge rusher from Hutchinson Community College in Kansas, has committed to the Wildcats after making an official visit last week.

Moorer, originally from Alabama, has played in 10 games this season for Hutchinson, notching 25 tackles (7.5 for loss) with 2.5 sacks. The Blue Dragons, who are unbeaten and ranked No. 1 in the country, host Northwest Mississippi in the NJCAA Division I playoffs on Dec. 6.
Built similar to UA senior Deshawn McKnight, Moorer has a chance to contribute right away to a defensive front that is set to graduate most of its rotation players.
Moorer is the 21st known commitment for Arizona’s 2026 recruiting class, the fifth on the defensive line. Arizona’s class is currently ranked 33rd by 247Sports, which is 5th-best in the Big 12.
