The Cleveland Browns are showing signs of life on offense with Shedeur Sanders at the helm.
It hasn’t been perfect, but Cleveland embarked on their second 10-play drive of the day against the 49ers to essentially close out the first half. The Browns drove 90 yards in 10 plays and capped it off with a 34-yard touchdown pass to Harold Fannin Jr. from Shedeur Sanders.
Cleveland then went for a two-point conversion following a 49ers penalty and succeeded, giving them an 8-7 lead over the 49ers with 39 seconds remaining in the first half.

The Browns have also run the ball very effectively, picking up 94 yards on 20 carries as a team. They haven’t sacked 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy yet, but have very much held San Francisco’s offense in check. Despite rushing for a touchdown, 49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey has picked up just 22 yards on eight touches.
