With the game have just ended, here are our instant takeaways from the Colts' performance.

- With more defenders near the line of scrimmage, Jones was trying to push the ball downfield to exploit the matchups that were there.
- According to PFF's early tracking data, Daniel Jones was under pressure on 41.7% of his dropbacks. For some context, a quarterback pressure rate of 42% over the course of this season is the second-highest mark in football.
- Another impressive performance from Alec Pierce, who is a go-to target for Jones. This season, Perice's role within the offense has expanded -- he's not only a vertical threat in this offense.

- Although it wasn't as bad as last week, the Colts lost the time of possession battle by a fair amount. The Texans held the ball for almost 10 minutes longer than Indianapolis and ran 22 more plays.
- At least on the initial viewing, it seemed like CJ Stroud had quite a bit of time to throw.
- Texans' wide receiver Nico Collins had another big day against the Colts, totaling 98 yards on five receptions. He also had a rushing touchdown.

- Talk about a huge fourth-down stop by the Colts' defense in the red zone late in the fourth quarter.
- Michael Badgley made a field goal, but he had another missed extra point attempt. In the Colts' last three games, Badgley has now missed three kicks (two extra points and a field goal). That proved to be a big miss with the Colts in field position late.
- Without Sauce Gardner, Jaylon Jones and Mekhi Blackmon both saw playing time at cornerback.
