Alabama held on to a nerve-wracking win against in-state rival Auburn in the Iron bowl on Saturday night, 27-20.
The Alabama offense was efficient and the defense caused turnovers. Jam Miller has a standout performance, as did kicker Conor Talty. Alabama now has it's running game going heading into the SEC Championship Game vs. Georgia, which the Crimson Tide clinched a berth in Saturday night with a win.

Bray Hubbard is the perfect player (at least in Kane Wommack's swarm defense)
Alabama won the turnover battle Saturday night. This was because of Bray Hubbard, who had an interception and a forced fumble on the game's closing drive. Bray is Alabama's secret weapon, and is a turnover machine in the defensive secondary. He makes game changing hits that the team rallies around. His tackling is enough to scare both wide receivers and running backs. If the Alabama offense can win the time of possession, and the defense can win the turnover battle, that is a scary combination. Bray is critical X factor in Alabama's success.
Conor Talty was 2/2 on field goals
Conor Talty went 2-of-2 on field goals Saturday night to include a 29-yard and 45-yard kick. This was a great performance given his recent kicking woes, and even hearing boos at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Talty did a great job of bouncing back, with one of his best performances in the Iron Bowl. This says something about his peronality and fortitude. It shows that he can deliver in big moments. It also likely solidifies Talty as Alabama's kicker for the remainder of the season.

Jam Miller rushed for 15 carries for 83 yards and an average of 5.5 yards per carry. Those are great numbers and very promising with Alabama about to face a ball control/run heavy team like Georgia. Jam gives Alabama a ground and pound element and helps them control the clock. Miller can also open up the running game for other options such as Kevin Riley, AK Dear, and Daniel Hill. Hopefully, he can continue to sustain this success against Georgia and potentially into the College Football Playoff.
