Semmes (Ala.) Mary G. Montgomery three-star tight end Damarcus Broughton tells Rivals’ Haydn Hollin that he has decommitted from USF.

Pledged to the Bulls since June 8, Broughton is the second decommitment of the day for USF following the departure of head coach Alex Golesh, who was hired by Auburn on Sunday morning.

Broughton is the No. 84 tight end and No. 51 recruit in Alabama in the 2026 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He checks in as the No. 1,327 prospect overall.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder has already been on Auburn’s radar this fall. He visited The Plains in September and looks to be another prime candidate for the Tigers as Golesh will look to build on Auburn’s slim recruiting class with National Signing Day looming.

USF also lost a commitment from Moody (Ala.) three-star wide receiver Josiah Dozier earlier on Sunday. He is now trending to Auburn after a prediction via Rivals national insider Steve Wiltfong.
