The Jacksonville Jaguars dismantled the Tennessee Titans 25-3 in a Week 13 AFC showdown in Nashville.

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence played one of his better games of the season, and threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns, completing 16 of 27 passes and avoiding an interception.

Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers played his best game as a Jaguar, and Brian Thomas Jr. played his first game since Week 9 after missing three games with an ankle injury.

Let's highlight the top takeaways from Jacksonville's Week 13 performance:

Lawrence continues to connect with Jakobi Meyers

Since joining the Jaguars in Week 10, Meyers has caught 12 of 15 passes for 121 receiving yards and a touchdown entering Week 13, and he just played his best game with Jacksonville against the Titans.

Meyers caught all six of his targets for 90 yards and a touchdown. He caught a 50-yard pass and was the Jaguars' most targeted receiver, despite Thomas Jr. returning from injury.

His 50–yard reception was the longest of his career and the longest reception by a Jaguars receiver this season.

His three-yard touchdown catch marked the second consecutive game with a receiving touchdown this season.

Brian Thomas Jr. returns from injury

After sitting out with an ankle injury sustained in the Jaguars' Week 9 overtime win against the Las Vegas Raiders, Thomas Jr. returned from injury to help Jacksonville dismantle the Titans on the road.

The second-year wide receiver caught two passes for 28 yards. Both of his catches were for first downs, and his second catch was a 17-yard snag to convert a third-down-and-long, and eventually set up a two-yard touchdown run from rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten.

While Thomas Jr. was not getting 10-12 targets like he had against the Bengals and Seahawks in Weeks 2 and 6, it may be a positive sign that he is not the only weapon that Lawrence has in his arsenal of receivers.

Quiet day for the run game

Jacksonville had four rushers (Travis Etienne Jr., Lawrence, Bhayshul Tuten, and Meyers) combine for a total of 73 rushing yards, with no rusher eclipsing over 30 yards.

Etienne picked up 28 yards on 12 carries, but averaged 2.3 yards per carry and had a long run of just six yards.

Lawrence was responsible for the longest run of the day, a 14-yard scamper out of the backfield, and racked up 25 rushing yards on three carries.

Tuten scored the only rushing touchdown of the game, but like Etienne, struggled to produce otherwise. His eight carries for 17 yards rounded him out for just 2.1 yards per carry.

Success for the Jaguars' offense this season has often started with being able to move the ball on the ground, but against Tennessee, the pass game shouldered that workload.

Josh Hines-Allen records a pair of sacks

Hines-Allen is the Jaguars franchise leader in sacks, a record he set this season and continues to add to that mark. This time, he did in a big way, sacking Cam Ward twice, recording two of Jacksonville's three sacks.

He has tallied 5.5 sacks since Week 9, which is tied for fifth most in the NFL, and he now has his 14th career game with multiple sacks since entering the league in 2019.

He now has six total sacks this season.
