Mainz sporting director Niko Bungert has left the future of coach Bo Henriksen open after they dropped to the bottom of the Bundesliga table on Sunday.
The 4-0 loss at Freiburg extended their winless league run to eight games. Mainz have just six points from 12 matches and only one win.

Of course it's clear that after such a game and with our current league position the situation is extremely unsatisfactory and we will question every area and see how we proceed," Bungert told DAZN.
"We were pretty much without a chance from the first minute. We set out to turn things around. In the end it is a fully deserved 4-0 win for Freiburg and, in our current state, a fully deserved last place for us," Bungert added.
Henriksen, who last term led Mainz into the Conference League for this season, assumes he will also be in charge next Friday against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
"I think so," said the Dane, who still "has a good feeling with the team, with the players."
He added: "We have to get better. All of us, not just the players, me too, the whole club."
