Despite dropping their second straight game for the first time this season, the Indianapolis Colts did have a few bright spots on offense, including wide receiver Alex Pierce.
Pierce was the Colts' leading receiver, tallying four receptions for 78 yards and scoring Indianapolis' first touchdown of the day.

Pierce has now caught two touchdowns this season and has recorded 689 receiving yards on 33 receptions.
Despite missing two games due to injury early in the season, Pierce has continued to prove why he is a threat on deep balls down the field, and how he is on par with Tyler Warren and Michael Pittman's receiving yards despite catching 25-30 fewer passes.
With that said, Pierce's role has also expanded this season, as he has been targeted more often on intermediate routes, and he is asked to attack that level of the field in different ways as well.

Pierce is set to be a free agent this upcoming offseason, and he's earning himself a larger payday with his play this season.
