This Penn State football recruiting class has evaporated into one of the smallest in the nation.
And one of the lowest-ranked, too, thanks to a steady exodus of talent since head coach James Franklin was fired in mid-October.

Only one of these pledges, Malvern Prep defensive end Jackson Ford, has publicly confirmed that he plans to sign with PSU on Wednesday.
Those who are officially in the fold, for now:
Safety Matt Sieg (McDonald, Pa.), defensive ends Terry Wiggins (Coatesville, Pa.) and Jackson Ford (Malvern, Pa.), linebackers Tyson Harley (Washington, D. C.) and Mathieu Lamah (Nokesville, Virginia), offensive lineman Benjamin Eziuka (Novi, Michigan) and cornerback Amauri Polydor (Baltimore).
Penn State football recruiting needs
The Lions hope to hang on to as many of their seven remaining verbal commitments as possible (six on defense, one on offense).

Penn State football recruiting rankings
The Lions' seven-member class is ranked a stunning 120th now by 247Sports because of its abnormal small number. It is last in the Big Ten, trailing Nebraska (104th, nine commitments) in the Big Ten.
The class is ranked 84th by Rivals.
