The TSSAA wrestling season is underway.

Who should be the Tennessean Early Season Girls Wrestler of the Year? You make the call.

Vote in our poll below. Voting will close Dec. 5 at noon.

Tatiana Pena-Corona, Clarksville, Sr.: Pena-Corona went 38-5 and was the 114-pound state runner-up, losing in the state final by a 5-3 decision.

Ellysia Jennings, Coffee County, Jr.: Jennings went 21-3 and placed third at 185 in the state tournament.

Cali Summers, East Nashville, So.: Summers placed sixth at the state tournament at 114.

Ashleigh Fevold, Green Hill, Jr.: Fevold went 26-10 and finished fifth at 107 in the state tournament.

Laura Gupton, Independence, Sr.: Gupton went 9-1 in duals and finished third at 132 at the state tournament.

Audrey Levendusky, Montgomery Central, Sr.: Levendusky was the 152-pound state runner-up. She went 31-1.

Emery Wilson, Ravenwood, Sr.: Wilson went 42-5 and finished fifth at 126 in the state tournament.

Danika Mealer, Riverdale, Sr.: Mealer went 27-6 and finished fourth at 152 in the state tournament.

Nevada Wildheart, Rossview, Jr.: Wildheart was the 126-pound state runner-up, losing by pin in the finals. She finished the season 41-6 and medaled for the first time.

Mariana Bowen, West Creek, Sr.: Bowen finished the season 39-0, winning the 138-pound state title by decision to capture her third consecutive championship.
