Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur confirmed defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt has a season-ending ankle injury, and the current plan internally is to replace him with young players already on the roster.
"Yeah, it's tough," LaFleur said Monday. "Certainly, he's a guy who's going to be pretty tough to replace."

Without Wyatt, a starter along the defensive line, the Packers will expect more from Karl Brooks, Warren Brinson and Nazir Stackhouse moving forward.
"It falls on everyone else raising the level of their game," LaFleur said. "I think everything is up in the air but I think we have confidence in the guys who have been playing and doing a good job. It'd be nice to get Karl Brooks back out there, and the two young guys are going to have to get more reps, Brinson and Stack. We'll handle it that way."
Brooks has been dealing with an ankle injury over the last two weeks.

Despite missing time earlier in the season with a knee injury, Wyatt had 4.0 sacks and 22 pressures over 379 snaps. Brooks, a backup, also has 22 pressures in 2025, and he's produced at least 20 pressures in each of his first three seasons.
Brinson, a sixth-round pick, and Stackhouse, a priority free agent addition, have combined for 326 snaps through the first 13 weeks.
The Packers will likely have to make an addition to the 53-man roster, especially with Brooks still dealing with an ankle injury, to provide depth at defensive tackle. Wyatt will eventually go on injured reserve, opening a roster spot.
Wyatt, a 2022 first-round pick, had his fifth-year option exercised, meaning he's under contract through the 2026 season.
