The Cincinnati Bengals need to beat the Buffalo Bills in Week 14 to keep slim playoff chances alive.
When they visit Buffalo, though, those Bills could be without a key defender.
The Bills might not have star pass-rusher Joey Bosa on the field. He left the team’s win over the Pittsburgh Steelers with a hamstring injury and didn’t return.

He leads the Bills in sacks with five. But his extensive injury history plays a role in looking ahead to the weekend.

Working around Bosa would’ve been a big part of the game plan for the Bengals. Joe Burrow’s offensive line is quietly very improved, but nobody on the Bengals will complain about the odds swinging a little more in their favor if they miss an elite pass-rusher.
The Bengals likely need to win out to make the playoffs. This Week 14 encounter with Josh Allen and the Bills is one of the two biggest challenges left on the schedule, alongside the Week 15 rematch with the Baltimore Ravens.
