The Alabama Crimson Tide close the 2025 college football regular season with their annual Iron Bowl showdown against the Auburn Tigers. Alabama visits Jordan-Hare Stadium Saturday for the 90th all-time meeting between the two of the sport's most bitter rivals.
Alabama (9-2, 6-1 SEC) is ranked No. 10 in the US LBM Coaches Poll and in the latest CFP rankings. Kalen DeBoer's team defeated Eastern Illinois, 56-0, at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Week 13.

Freshmen AK Dear (nine carries, 45 yards) and Kevin Riley (eight carries, 36 yards) both rushed for two scores. Jam Miller (11 carries, 62 yards) and Daniel Hill rushed for one touchdown apiece. Alabama's defense held Eastern Illinois to two first downs and 34 yards of total offense.
Auburn (5-6, 1-6) defeated the Mercer Bears, 62-17, in Week 13. The Tigers and interim coach D.J. Durkin started true freshman Deuce Knight at quarterback. The five-star recruit from Lucedale, Mississippi, threw for 239 yards and two touchdowns. He rushed for another 162 yards and four touchdowns to cap a six-score day.
Auburn is unranked in the top 25 polls.
ESPN reveals TV broadcasters for Alabama football vs. Auburn
Ahead of Alabama-Auburn, ESPN announced who will have the call of Saturday's game on the Plains. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call the action from the broadcast booth at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Holly Rowe will report from the sidelines.

Fowler and Herbstreit have been ESPN and ABC's No. 1 college football broadcast crew since 2014.

Alabama-Auburn will broadcast nationally on ABC in Week 14 of the 2025 college football season.
In part due to CBS Sports' longstanding broadcast contract with the SEC, it will be the first time in Iron Bowl history that ABC will televise an Alabama-Auburn game from Jordan-Hare Stadium. Auburn began hosting the Iron Bowl on the Plains permanently in 1993.

Alabama football series history vs. Auburn
Alabama leads the all-time series, 51-37-1. The Crimson Tide have won the last five head-to-head matchups against the Tigers, and are 11-3 vs. Auburn in the series' last 14 meetings dating back to 2011.
Alabama defeated Auburn, 28-14, in the last meeting between the two schools on Nov. 30, 2024, at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Kalen DeBoer's first Iron Bowl as coach.
