Lance Briggs believes Bears can flex on any team in NFL

The Chicago Bears are making believers out of many people around the NFL this season, including their own former players who now work in the media.

After their win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Black Friday, former three-time All-Pro and seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker Lance Briggs believes this Bears team made a statement to the rest of the NFL.

Briggs spoke about Chicago's win over Philadelphia, and the manner in which they did it, running for 281 yards on the ground. Not only did the Bears have success in the running game, they nearly doubled the time of possession between the two teams, and Briggs believes the victory showed that they can flex on any team in the league.

"Them exerting their will against the Eagles, you can see that there's a level of talent that the Bears have top to bottom," Briggs said on CHGO Bears. "What I see, there is a level of talent that the Bears have that we haven't seen before. All of the stuff we've said about (Ryan) Poles and you add in the coaching with the talent, this team can flex on anybody now. At this point, that's what they're showing."

If the Bears can truly become a team that flexes on their opponents and sticks to their game plan in grinding out wins by any means necessary, they're going to be a tough out the rest of the season. No one expected Chicago to have this much success this early in the Ben Johnson era, but it's happening, and in the process, they're making a statement to the rest of the NFL.
