How to Watch #1 Purdue (7-0, 0-0) vs. Rutgers (5-3, 0-0) & Fan Discussion

Big Ten play is finally here people. Of course, it’s December so it’s the strange two early conference games followed by a break in conference play. This is a spot in the calendar that Purdue has historically not done very well in. In fact, Purdue is just 2-6 in Big Ten road openers since these started. That’s not good. It seems like all six of those losses are to Rutgers but deep down I know that’s not the case. Let’s hope that Purdue can shake off that trend and get out to an early lead in the conference race. Every win will matter this season if they want the conference title. Michigan, Michigan State, and Illinois, among others, will be hard to outpace and it’s games like these that Purdue will need to win to keep pace. Casey has your preview.
