It's been a phenomenal year for the Ohio State football team so far in 2025, but there's still more ahead. The Buckeyes polished off an undefeated regular season after dominating Michigan on Saturday, and now all of the games get even bigger from here on out.
Head coach Ryan Day will be taking his team to Indianapolis for some hardware and confetti by doing battle with No. 2 Indiana for a Big Ten Championship. It's the first-ever No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup in conference championship history, and might end up being the most anticipated game of the season. We'll see how it all turns out.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementDay met with the national and local media on a Zoom conference call on Monday to preview the matchup with Indiana and had some interesting things to say about the prospects of what will be coming to a television or streaming device near you on Saturday. Thanks to The Daily Hoosier YouTube channel, you can watch the entire press conference and hear Day discuss the respect he has for Curt Cignetti and what he's done, the challenge of playing such an explosive team, what the game means for his team, and more.
Ohio State is scheduled to kick things off with Indiana on Saturday night. We'll still have plenty leading up to the game as we go through the week.
