The Knicks just fell short against the Celtics on Tuesday night, after almost storming back in the 4th quarter to make up a double-digit deficit.

Despite the result, the Knicks did something on the offensive end in the 4th quarter that viewers might have missed, but should be aware of, with it being such a rare sight.

It's not often that you see a team have more than two or three points in a single possession.

Somehow, the Knicks did it twice during the game, with two separate possessions that alone totaled for 10 points and accounted for 8.5% of the points they scored on Tuesday.

The first sequence came a couple of minutes into the 4th quarter when Jordan Clarkson knocked down a three-pointer and was fouled.

That meant he was awarded a free throw in addition to the field goal, which he converted.

Four-point plays don't happen too often, but the play that happened a few minutes later was even more rare.

Knicks' Mikal Bridges was fouled on a three-pointer, which was later reviewed and determined to be a flagrant.

This gave Bridges three free throws and the ball for an additional possession after the free throw attempts.

Bridges knocked down all three free throws and then Karl-Anthony Towns proceeded to convert an and-one of his own, ending the possession's point total at six points.

It was a pretty cool feat that the Knicks pulled off that you don't see happen very often in a single game.
