The Seminoles (5-3) shot 8-of-30 from three, a third consecutive game shooting 30% or lower from deep, and finished the game 39% from the field. FSU made single-digit threes for a third straight game, a run that started a game after Lajae Jones tied a program record for made threes in a game with 10 against Georgia Southern.

A corner three from Chauncey Wiggins on the Seminoles' opening possession of the game was just one of four makes from deep in the opening period, which allowed the Bulldogs to open up a double-digit 23-10 in the opening 10 minutes.

Georgia led 49-30 at the break, despite shooting 27% from three in the first half.

The Bulldogs scored 28 points in the paint in the first half, while adding 13 second-chance points. FSU failed to cope with Georgia's full-court press, something that Texas A&M had success with against the Seminoles, and it forced them into some disjointed offensive possessions.

The second half brought little improvement for the Seminoles, who shot 29% from the field. The scoreline was helped by a late flurry of points from FSU, but it was a dismal shooting night overall.

FSU's struggles from the free-throw line continued, shooting 50%, with nine made free throws from 18 attempts.
