The 25-year-old managed it in 111 appearances after his opening goal in the remarkable 5-4 win at Fulham.

That means Haaland reached his 100 goals 13 games quicker than Alan Shearer, who was the first to enter and who sits atop the charts with 260 goals.

Haaland also bagged his century 30 games quicker than Harry Kane, 36 matches faster than our very own Sergio Aguero, 49 faster than Thierry Henry and 51 games quicker than Mohamed Salah.

He hit 25 goals in 19 matches, seven games quicker than Kevin Philips.

Haaland reached 50 goals in just 48 games, and astonishing 17 matches faster than Andrew Cole.

Left FIELD

There’s no doubt how Erling Haaland likes scoring his goals.

He’s a predator with his left foot and is most clinical at close-range.

Of his 100 to date in the Premier League, he’s netted 71 with his left foot, 11 with his right foot, 17 with his head and one other, bundling home his second goal in November 2023’s 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge.

He’s also bagged 94 inside the box with just the six goals coming from outside the box.

Spot on

Erling Haaland clearly loves being put on the spot judging by his record with penalties.

Of his 100 goals, the powerful striker has managed to score a hugely impressive 17 out of 20 attempts.

His only misses came in a 2-1 victory at Sheffield United as Wes Fotheringham saved, against Everton as Jordan Pickford stopped and in our recent 3-0 triumph over Liverpool with Giorgi Mamardashvili denying him.

Seven up

Erling Haaland becomes the seventh Blue to enter the Premier League 100 Club.

Sergio Aguero is the only other player to have scored all 100+ Premier League goals for City, sitting sixth in the list with 184.

But fellow 100 Club members Andrew Cole (187 – 9 for City), Frank Lampard (177 – 6 for City), Robbie Fowler (163 – 21 for City), Nicolas Anelka (125 – 37 for City) and Raheem Sterling (123 – 91 for City) also represented and scored for the Blues.

There are a plethora of famous players from that region but none other than Haaland have managed to make it onto the illustrious list.

Fellow Norwegian Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hit 91, Christian Eriksen of Denmark managed 55, Sweden’s Alexander Isak has 55, Norway’s Joshua King – who now plays for Saudi club Al-Khaleej – hit 53 while Sweden’s Freddie Ljungberg managed 48 during his career in English football.

Interestingly, there’s no Spaniard, Brazilian or Italian in the Premier League 100 Club.

Hungry like the Wolf

Erling Haaland has scored the most goals of his century against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
