Throughout the year, we will be asking and answering questions about various Ohio State teams, the players, and anything else on our collective minds of varying degrees of importance. If you have a question that you would like to ask, you can tweet us @LandGrant33 or if you need more than 280 characters, send an email HERE.
Our long national nightmare is over! Ding, dong, the witch is dead! At long last, order has been restored. The No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes have officially snapped their four-game losing streak to those cheaters from Ann Arbor. After two decades of dominance in The Game, as Buckeye fans, we were probably due for a few losses, but that doesn’t mean that the past four Novembers weren’t exceedingly painful.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementSo, in our fan survey this week, we want to know what emotions were flowing through your Buckeye body when the clock hit 00:00 on Saturday. Then, in the second question, as it is game week, we want to get your insight into Saturday’s contest, so we want you to pick the winner and the margin of victory.
Check out the questions below, and then make sure to vote in the survey beneath the article. If none of the options included in the survey line up with what you want to pick, feel free to head down to the comments at the bottom of the page and write in your pick. Then, on Saturday morning, check back with LGHL to see the results.
Question 1: What emotion did you most feel following Ohio State’s win over Michigan?
Catharsis, euphoria, pride, relief, spite, vindication. Those are obviously just a few of the emotions that you could have been feeling following the Buckeyes’ first win over their rival in six years, but more than likely, you were feeling some combination of all of them. But for these purposes, we want you to hone in on just one and pick the one that was most prevalent.

Question 2: What will the margin of victory be in Saturday’s game against Indiana?
When the FanDuel Sportsbook opened its betting for this game, Ohio State was installed as a 5.5-point favorite, but, as of the writing of this article, it has dipped a bit to -4.5. The gold standard college football analytics system, SP+, has it as a 26-25 game in favor of the Buckeyes, which would obviously cover.
So, while I will make my official pick and prediction on Saturday morning in the “Land-Grant Tailgate Podcast,” right now, I am inclined to go with something like 31-13, just because I think that Ryan Day and company are in the process of stepping on the gas and leaving the rest of college football in their dust.
Throughout the year, we ask questions of the most plugged-in Ohio State fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
