Leasys names Andrea Bandinelli as CEO

The Leasys joint venture (JV) between Stellantis and Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility has appointed Andrea Bandinelli as its new CEO with immediate effect.

Bandinelli started his career by joining Groupe PSA, later Stellantis, in financial services 25 years ago.

Over time, he held several leadership positions in that area before moving into senior posts in finance and investor relations.

He was chief financial officer (CFO) for the Middle East & Africa region, most recently, following earlier responsibilities as investor relations head and CFO Mobility.

Drawing on this background, Bandinelli will be responsible for directing Leasys as it seeks to deliver “customer-centric" mobility offerings across European markets.

Under Bandinelli’s leadership, the company aims to expedite profitable growth while strengthening its position in Europe’s operational leasing market.

Bandinelli said: “I am honoured to take on the responsibility of leading Leasys at such an exciting moment for the mobility sector. Our goal is to accelerate innovation and deliver flexible, sustainable solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers across Europe."

The company oversees a fleet of 950,000 vehicles in 11 countries and provides products from fleet management solutions to medium-term and long-term rental contracts for companies of different sizes.

Leasys was established through the combination of Leasys and Free2Move Lease businesses.

It is operational in Italy, Netherlands, Spain, France, Germany, UK, Belgium, Portugal, Luxembourg Poland and Austria.

Leasys posted profit before taxes of €173m ($188.57m) for the full year 2024, a 1% rise year-over-year (YoY).

The company’s adjusted net income stood at €112m, maintaining its level from 2023.
