Barnet manager Dean Brennan has been charged by the Football Association with verbally abusing a match official while making a reference to gender.
The alleged incident occurred during their 3-1 League Two home defeat by Shrewsbury Town on 6 September, which was being refereed by Kirsty Dowle.

Brennan has until Tuesday, 9 December to respond to the charge.
The 45-year-old has been in charge of the North London outfit since September 2021 and led the Bees to the National League title last season.
They are 14th in League Two, having drawn five consecutive league games.
"It's alleged that Dean Brennan acted in an improper manner and/or used abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official during the fixture," an FA statement said.
"It's further alleged that this is an 'aggravated breach' which is defined in FA Rule E3.2 as it included a reference - whether express or implied - to gender."
