By Matthew CoudenShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberPaul "Triple H" Levesque continues to draw much criticism over his booking of major WWE events and shows. That extended to this week's "Monday Night Raw," which occurred just two days after the massive Survivor Series: WarGames premium live event.
At WarGames, viewers saw John Cena lose the WWE Intercontinental Championship in his second-to-last match before retirement, with Dominik Mysterio receiving help from all of the Judgment Day. In addition, the main event featured a mysterious masked man entering the ring and delivering a Curb Stomp like Seth Rollins to help the heels win.
On "Monday Night Raw," there was no fallout from the babyface team regarding the mystery man who cost them their Survivor Series match. However, Raw featured the continuation of storylines featuring Liv Morgan's return to Judgment Day and Bron Breakker pinning CM Punk at Survivor Series.

...During Vince Russo's podcast with former WWE star Stevie Richards and pro wrestler Bin Hamin, Russo made a bold statement about WWE's chief content officer, Triple H, who is responsible for booking the various events.
“I am now going to make the declaration without a shadow of a doubt: Triple H is the worst booker I have ever seen since 1971,” Russo, a former WWE head writer, stated on his podcast.
In particular, he took issue with how they booked the story involving the masked individual at WarGames and investigating the situation a few nights later.
“You’ve got a masked man at WarGames screw the babyface team, and none of the babyfaces are on ‘Monday Night Raw,’ to get answers and find out who f-d them. Are you kidding me?" Russo said in his criticism.
He mentioned that the only one who seemed to care about the masked man was the Raw general manager, Adam Pearce, who decided to get a referee to see what he could find out about the masked man.
"Triple H, brother, you suck," Russo said, adding, "It can't get any worse than you. How do you have a babyface team getting screwed and none of them showing up on the next show? How is that even possible?"
He likened it to Tony Soprano getting shot on "The Sopranos" and not appearing in the next episode, suggesting it made absolutely no sense since it didn't help keep the story going.
In addition, Russo's colleague, Bin Hamin, called out how "stupid" it was to bring out all of Judgment Day into the Cena match to try to help them get over in Cena's second-to-last match before retirement.
Russo and his colleague's criticisms of Triple H seem to mirror those of many fans who believe that WWE hasn't been as entertaining as it once was and is repetitive with various aspects. According to Richards, he thinks WWE's current goal is to gouge fans with high ticket prices and expensive streaming costs to get the Saudis to purchase the company.
Russo was a head writer with WWF/E back in 1997, but WWE replaced him in 1999. Despite a brief return to WWE in 2002, he left after feeling disrespected by Stephanie McMahon. Russo also worked for World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).
Interestingly, Russo has been particularly critical of Triple H and WWE, whereas the "Busted Open Podcast" and former WWE star Jim Cornette seem to give mostly positive reviews of WWE's booking in their critiques.
