On Wednesday, the Indianapolis Colts made it official, announcing that they had signed kicker Blake Grupe to the practice squad.
"I thought Blake had a really good workout, so we're excited to add Blake to the fold," Shane Steichen said, via Colts.com. "He's done some good things in New Orleans, and so we're excited to have him."

Grupe was with the New Orleans Saints up until last week when he was released. On the year, Grupe has made all 15 extra point attempts, but he was just 18-for-26 on field goals.
Of his eight misses, six of them were from 40 or more yards, according to PFF.
For his career, Grupe is 86-of-88 on extra points and 75-of-94 on field goals. From 40 yards and under, he has been mostly steady.
Colts’ special teams coordinator Brian Mason coached Grupe at Notre Dame during the 2022 season.
