Former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock says "little tweaks" by Unai Emery during a game "make a massive difference" after Aston Villa came from 2-0 down to defeat Brighton 4-3 at Amex Stadium on Wednesday evening.
It was Villa's sixth consecutive victory in all competitions and moved them into third in the Premier League. That is despite their difficult start, where they failed to win any of their opening six games.

"You think about where they were when he took over from Steven Gerrard - I think they were bottom three or just a place out of it - and he's taken them to the Champions League, Europa League and the top four.
"That is with a lot of the same players too. He's just a brilliant manager.
"To be 2-0 down at Brighton and just knowing 'I can get my team back into this' is the difference from certain managers. When players look across to him, they are reassured because he has a plan.

"I've been fortunate enough to watch Villa train - the level of detail that goes into a session is meticulous."
