Monday, Nov. 24 – Clay 69, Western 8

Emma Emnett and Sophia Craft combined for 55 points, Emnett and Ava Demorest combined for 21 steals and the Clay Panthers’ girls basketball program scored a 69-8 victory over the Western Indians’ girls basketball program to post a 61-point win in its season-opening contest Monday evening in Latham.

Emnett, who led Clay with 33 points, added in 12 steals on her own to record the unique statline. The junior also finished with five rebounds and four assists to boot in the contest. Craft added in a 22-point, 12-rebound double-double to go along with five assists, three steals and a block for the Lady Panthers.

Caroline Ridenour posted six points and five rebounds while Demorest collected nine steals and six assists for Clay (1-0). Western fell to 0-2 in 2025.

Saturday, Nov. 22 – Notre Dame 65, Western 4

Notre Dame junior Jaysa Bryant enjoyed a personal outburst with 30 points, Alayna Soard and Sophie Phillips combined for 26 points and 16 rebounds and the Lady Titans won their season opener Saturday evening with a 65-4 triumph over the Western Indians’ girls basketball program, posting a 61-point win of their own Saturday evening in Latham.

Bryant, who scored her 30 points on 12-of-20 shooting from the field, also pulled down seven rebounds and tallied four steals in the contest. Soard scored 17 points to go along with five rebounds, four steals and two assists on 6-of-12 shooting from the floor while Phillips contributed 11 rebounds, nine points and three steals.

Kailee Ogier nabbed six points, six rebounds and three steals while Emma Kingrey added in five rebounds, four steals and three points for Notre Dame, who now sits 2-0 in 2025 after defeating Northwest, 60-22, Monday evening in McDermott.
