On March 4, the Portland Thorns officially announced Robert Vilahamn as their next coach. His arrival was pending his P-1 visa.
According to the club, his visa has now been approved. Vilahamn is expected to lead the team on Friday when they head to Audi Field to face off against Washington Spirit. The match takes place at 8 p.m. EST on Prime Video.
He will speak with the media for the first time tomorrow and have an introductory press conference next week.
