Nübel started for Stuttgart away to Sieb’s Mainz 05. He recorded three saves in the match. He allowed a first-half goal and then saw his teammates score two goals in two minutes in the second half. Unfortunately he could not keep the ball out of the net for the rest of the night, as Mainz was able to find a late equalizer. The match ended 2-2.

Stuttgart will host FC Porto in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16 on Thursday. They will also host RB Leipzig in league play on Sunday.

Arijon Ibrahimović – 1. FC Heidenheim

Palhinha started for Tottenham and played the full 90 minutes at home against Crystal Palace. He had one shot — from long range, missed wide — and created one chance for his teammates to shoot. After going down to 10-men, Palhinha was forced to play even further back. He recorded three tackles, five clearances, two interceptions, and two recoveries. Spurs were up 1-0 ten minutes before halftime but then received a red card and conceded three goals before the break. Spurs fell 3-1 for their fifth straight Premier League loss.

Peretz led his Championship side to London to face Fulham in the fifth round of the FA Cup. It was a defensive struggle for both teams which saw Peretz save all six shots on goal that he saved to keep the shutout. The lone Southampton goal came from a 90th minute penalty. They move onto the next round with the 1-0 win on the road over the Premier League side.

He came off the bench in the 67th minute — just minutes after former Bayern man, Leroy Sané, received a second yellow. In the last 20 minutes plus, he only had ten touches. Grasshopper will face Thun on the road on Saturday.

Austria – Bundesliga

Maximilian Hennig is the only player on loan to the Austrian Bundesliga.

Maximillian Hennig – TSV Hartberg

Hennig started and played 90 minutes for Hartberg against BW Linz. He had a fairly quiet match in at right back. He created one chance for his teammates to shoot. He also eight clearances and a recovery on defense. Both teams scored in the first 11 minutes and then both defenses shut it down after that. The match ended 1-1.

The draw was enough to keep their place in the Championship Group (top six). Everyone’s points were halved and now Hartberg is just five points behind the league leaders. Their first match in the Championship Group will be away to LASK on Friday.

Jussef Nasrawe – SV Ried

Nasrawe was on the bench for Ried at home against Austria Wien. He came off the bench late in the match and played the last four minutes plus stoppage time. He had 14 touches but could not help his team overcome a late 2-0 deficit. Ried fell by that score.

Ried fell into the Relegation Group — and would have even with a win. They cannot finish higher than seventh place, but still have a chance to be relegated. Besides playing for survival, they also have the incentive to finish in seventh place and earn a playoff berth for a spot in Europe. Simple enough right?! Ried’s first match will be against WSG Tirol.

FC Bayern Munich Frauen

There is one player on loan from the women’s team.

Brazil – Brasileirão Feminino

Ana Guzmán is the only player on loan to Brazil’s Brasileirão Feminino.

Guzmán started and played 90 minutes for Columbia against Argentina in Nashville for the second of three matches in the SheBelieves Cup. She had two shots — both off target. On defense she also had one clearance and five recoveries. Columbia scored a late goal to win 1-0.

Columbia faced the USWNT on Saturday in Harrison, New Jersey with a chance to win the tournament. Guzmán started again for Columbia and played most of the match. I had a chance to go to this match and see her play in person again. She had one shot — missed high. It may not show up on the stat sheet, but Guzmán looked very strong off the ball and was creating good opportunities for passes and overlapping runs. She was subbed off in the 84th minute after the US scored a great goal in the 82nd minute. Columbia was unable to find a late equalizer and they fell 1-0.

Back with her club, Palmerias will host Corinthians on Friday.
