For the second consecutive day, star wide receiver DeVonta Smith popped up on the Philadelphia Eagles injury report as a player who did not practice ahead of their Week 13 matchup with the Chicago Bears on Black Friday.

The Eagles held an actual practice on Wednesday though, and Smith was again out, with an illness added on top of the chest/shoulder injury. His status for the game against Chicago remains unknown at this point.
This is obviously a cause for concern, as Smith has been Philadelphia's most productive pass-catcher this season. He leads the team with 55 receptions and 754 yards. If he was forced to miss the game on Friday, that would be a big blow for an Eagles team aiming to get the offensive attack on track.
Xavier Gipson,, Lane Johnson and Andrew Mukuba again joined Smith on the 'DNP' list on Wednesday. We already know that Mukuba won't be available this week, as he'll be sidelined indefinitely after suffering a fractured ankle against Dallas.
