It was a very exciting day for the Cleveland Browns in Week 12 against the Las Vegas Raiders, not only with Shedeur Sanders starting, but also getting the first win in a Browns debut for a quarterback in a very long time.

However, that doesn't mean that others still don't think the Browns need to find a better quarterback in the future, including USA Today's Jacob Camenker, who believes the team could be interested in someone like Mac Jones, naming them a landing spot for his services.
“The Browns are in a similar financial position to the Dolphins. Cleveland can't move on from Deshaun Watson's albatross contract during the 2026 NFL offseason unless it's willing to eat a whopping $131.2 million in dead cap space.
“As a result, the Browns will once again be looking for cheap competition at quarterback. They could find that atop the 2026 NFL Draft, but if they want to give Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders another chance to prove themselves, Jones could be a nice, lower-cost veteran option for the team,” he wrote.

Even if Sanders isn't the perfect option, he's still very cheap due to being on a rookie contract.
There has to be something said for that, considering where the Browns sit cap-wise.
