Finally -- FINALLY!!! -- we're here. Lane Kiffin will coach Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State, which means we'll allegedly hear an announcement from him on Saturday about whether he's staying with the Rebels or leaving for a program like LSU.
That's right, our long national nightmare of subtle hints, some cryptic posts and rampant speculation will come to an end after weeks of rumors. So we decided here at For The Win to predict the outcome of Kiffin's decision. Here's our take (and, spoiler alert: We all agree on what he's going to do and what's next for him):

Money talks, and for Lane Kiffin, it's saying LSU. The Tigers are prepared to make Kiffin the nation's highest-paid coach, plus they've reportedly committed to upping their roster investments to $25 million, a $7 million increase over last year. The Brian Kelly era was a failure, but an anomalous one for LSU as its last three coaches (Nick Saban, Les Miles and Ed Orgeron) all won national titles. Kiffin worked under Saban at Alabama and coached with Orgeron at USC and Tennessee, so he knows exactly how fruitful the job in Baton Rouge can be. -- Wajih AlBaroudi
Lane Kiffin is definitely gone
That man Lane Kiffin is as good as gone. He really needs to quit playing in everybody's face and just skedaddle on the road to wherever he is going. (* cough * LSU.) Just make sure you drop some cryptic Taylor Swift lyrics on your way out, Lane. -- Meghan L. Hall

I'm no college football insider, but here's what I know: If Kiffin was staying, the statement from Ole Miss last week would have said so. The fact that the message was basically, "Hey, let's concentrate on the Egg Bowl and we'll talk more about this after" spoke volumes to me. I think he's going to coach the Rebels to a win and then announce he's leaving for LSU the next day. -- Charles Curtis
