Let’s talk about the Bills this afternoon, shall we?

The Buffalo Bills and the Pittsburgh Steelers are each in the midst of a dogfight for playoff positioning. Thanks to parity in the division, the 6-5 Steelers have a great chance at winning the AFC North. Thanks to head-scratching losses and the emergence of the New England Patriots, the 7-4 Bills are likely fighting for a Wild Card berth rather than a sixth consecutive AFC East title.

Buffalo has been up-and-down for the last two months, as a 4-0 start to the season has given way to a 3-4 stretch of maddening, mediocre football. Pittsburgh, meanwhile, started the season similarly, as a 4-1 start has been followed by a 2-4 stretch of late. Something has to give, as each team is desperate for a win to keep pace in an increasingly crowded AFC Playoff field.

Will Josh Allen and the Buffalo offense finally figure it out this week? Will James Cook find room against the No. 15 run defense in the NFL? Will Aaron Rodgers return from a wrist injury to exploit a banged-up Buffalo defense? Will Jaylen Warren continue this year’s pattern of any NFL running back finding space against Buffalo’s putrid, NFL-worst run defense?

There are plenty of questions, and the answers are all about to arrive. Our first-half thread is here, friends. Please remember to be civil to each other. Go Bills!
