At 1-1, Vinícius could have scored a superb winner after cutting in – but his effort rose too high. Rodrygo Goes then went down in the box, met with a shake of the official’s head. Girona could have caused an upset if not for Courtois being on-hand once more. Madrid would be unable to push forward for a winner, and would have to accept a third draw in three, with the full-time score reading 1-1. Thoughts?
