Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young is as clutch as they come.
The third-year passer helped guide his team to what might just be the biggest upset here in 2025. Young and the Panthers, despite entering Week 13 as double-digit underdogs to the NFC-leading Los Angeles Rams, pulled off a thriller of a 31-28 victory to move to 7-6 on the campaign.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementTheir triumph was teed up by a six-play, 65-yard touchdown drive in the fourth quarter—which ended in a 43-yard connection between Young and rookie wideout Tetairoa McMillan on a fourth-and-3. And that game-winning drive now accounts for the 11th of Young's career—making him, per the Panthers, the youngest quarterback in NFL history (24 years, 128 days) to reach that mark.
After the game, in true Bryce Young fashion, he credited his pass catchers with the success.
"I just trust my guys," Young stated. "There's no big conversation, no big hoorah. Again, for me, I'm super grateful to have guys like that on the perimeter that I trust—in need-to-have situations, in fourth downs. Trust them to win one-on-ones, trust them with 50-50 balls, trust them if they're more open, whatever it may be."

When trailing on Sunday, he—according to Pro Football Focus, hit on eight of his 10 throws for 167 yards, two of the scores and a perfect 158.3 passer rating.
