The Crawfish Boxes Welcomes Adam Spolane, Welcomes Back Jimmy Price and Scott Barzilla to Staff

The Crawfish Boxes announces today the addition of three members to the staff:

Adam Spolane: Born and raised in Houston, Adam has spent two decades covering the Houston sports scene, most recently for SportsRadio 610 and the Associated Press. A graduate of Indiana University, Adam spent 10 years as a broadcaster in the Colorado Rockies farm system.

Adam will be contributing news, opinion, and insights on the Astros for The Crawfish Boxes, drawing on his great experience covering the team.

Jimmy Price: Jimmy is the founder of Astros Future, a platform dedicated to covering the Houston Astros’ minor league system. He began sharing Astros content on Twitter before expanding into written coverage of prospects, player development, and team news through different platforms to include his own website, AstrosFuture.com. Through consistent updates, recaps, and in-depth analysis, Jimmy aims to provide Astros fans with reliable insight into the organization’s future talent and the path to the big leagues.

Jimmy will continue his excellent work resuming his role covering the Astros minor league system and players for The Crawfish Boxes.

Scott Barzilla: Scott is a published sports author, whose credits include the books “The State of Baseball Management”, “Checks and Imbalances”, “The Hall of Fame Index” and “The Hall of Fame Index Part II”. Scott is also a contributor to SB Nation’s Houston Texans’ site Battle Red Blog. He has previously written Astros and baseball content for Bleacher Report, AstrosDaily.com, and The Crawfish Boxes.

Scott will resume his terrific work as our analytics expert on The Crawfish Boxes.
