NFC playoff picture: Chicago Bears now in first place i conference

The NFC has a new No. 1 seed after Week 13! After the Los Angeles Rams were upset by the Carolina Panthers, one of the most unlikely teams in 2025 sits in the conference driver's seat.

The Chicago Bears are the new No. 1 seed, while the rest of the NFC playoff picture remains pretty set.

NFC playoff picture entering Week 14

1. Chicago Bears, 9-3 (6-2 conference)

2. LA Rams, 9-3 (4-3 conference)

3. Philadelphia Eagles, 8-4 (7-3 conference)

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 7-5 (5-3 conference)

5. Seattle Seahawks, 9-3 (5-3 conference)

6. Green Bay Packers, 8-3-1 (6-2-1 conference)

7. San Francisco 49ers, 9-4 (8-2 conference)

The Bears are in first place because of their conference record tiebreaker over the Rams right now. The Rams, tied with the Seahawks at 9-3, are No. 2 because they have a head-to-head win over Seattle to have the NFC West lead.

In the mix

The Detroit Lions (7-5), Dallas Cowboy (6-5-1) and Carolina Panthers (7-6) loom, although the Panthers mighgt have the best chance to get in of the three. They are a half-game behind the Bucs for the NFC South lead and still will face them twice.

NFL Week 14 games to impact NFC playoff picture

• The Cowboys and Lions play on Thursday night.

• The Seahawks are at the 4-8 Atlanta Falcons.

• The Bucs host the 2-10 Saints.

• The Rams are at the 3-9 Arizona Cardinals.

• The Bears and Packers play at Lambeau Field on Sunday.

• The Eagles are at the Chargers on Monday night.

• The 49ers and Panthers are on their bye.
