Michigan State basketball will open Big Ten play on Tuesday night in a home matchup against Iowa from the Breslin Center.
Michigan State comes into this game with a perfect 7-0 record on the year, with notable ranked wins over Arkansas, Kentucky and North Carolina. Iowa is also 7-0 on the year, boasting impressive wins over Xavier and Ole Miss.

Game Prediction
Prediction: Michigan State 81, Iowa 73
If you haven't been paying close attention to the rest of the Big Ten, then you may be surprised to know Iowa is also undefeated and off to a great start to the season. This is a much improved team from last year, and will be a tough test on Tuesday night for the Spartans. I expect this game to be tight throughout, with eventually the Spartans leaning on the Hawkeyes late and using its home crowd to push them over the top. This is yet another tough test for Michigan State, and once again, I think they'll get by with a passing grade.
